| "Hi Tony Just thought that I would let you know how things are going. They are great! The water is beautifully clear and very, very soft. It was only the other day that I refilled the water softener with a bag of salt, so that had lasted almost 3 months. I am presuming that the back washes are working as they should, as I neither hear nor know anything about it, so they must be working in the early hours of the morning as you planned. The Reverse Osmosis equipment occasionally mutters at me for a few moments but I ignore it and it goes quiet again!! All in all, everything is working extremely well. This is the longest that I have gone without having to change filters or clean something for a long, long time! I will be very pleased if I only have to have the system serviced once a year or so.
